Sieged addon

Sieged was made for people who can't imagine their lives without large-scale battles and want to command entire armies. I must say, Sieged is an addon that requires patience to learn the ropes. But don't you worry — I will walk you through all of the basics.

Welcome, Commander

In Sieged, you're not just another soldier on the battlefield — you're the commander. There is an in-game guide book that will help you learn everything you need to know, but in a nutshell, here is how it works: in settlements, campsites, and castles, you will find knights, archers, and peasants who can be hired by giving them emeralds. This is how you build your personal army.

At some point, you will have to establish your own settlement, which is required to progress your research. This mechanic reminded me a lot of the Beforecraft addon.

The Research System

Research acts as the primary progression system in this addon. By spending a dozen Emeralds and waiting a bit, you can unlock new technologies. Research is vital because, without it, you can't build catapults and other heavy siege weapons. And without those siege weapons, you cannot siege a castle — which is the addon's major selling point!
