The Tanks

I was really impressed by the level of detail on the tank models. Although I’m not a major history expert, I’ve played War Thunder a few times, and these models feel very authentic. Since you can't craft them, you have to spawn them in; however, it usually takes a few seconds for the tank to fully appear. Sometimes, this is accompanied by a visual glitch where the tanks are tossed around before settling.

While inside a tank, you are restricted to a third-person perspective. I found it a bit difficult to aim at first, but otherwise, the controls work well. You have several ammo types at your disposal, including Armor-Piercing (AP) and High-Explosive (HE) shells. Keep in mind that not every shell type is compatible with every tank.

I actually had a funny experience where I fired kinetic shells and noticed they didn't damage the surroundings — I only realized later that kinetic rounds are designed for penetration, not environmental destruction!

The Planes

The planes in this addon feel much clunkier than the tanks. Comparing to some other addons, it's definitely lacking. Banking and maneuvering the aircraft isn't very smooth, and the animations can be quite twitchy.

Like the tanks, piloting is restricted to third-person mode. The planes feature two primary weapon systems:

• Machine Guns: Mounted on the front and primarily used for aerial dogfights with other planes.

• Bombs: Dropped from beneath the aircraft to eliminate ground targets like tanks or buildings.

Conclusion

Overall, this is a solid addon that just needs a bit of extra polish. It features dozens of heavy and airborne vehicles that look great and fulfill their primary purpose: total destruction.
