World War Tanks

Operate legendary American, German, and Japanese tanks from the World War II era in this Minecraft Bedrock mod. For me, there has always been something aesthetically pleasing about these armored vehicles—carved from thick metal and built to withstand direct shelling. The mod succeeds in capturing their sense of weight and heaviness. Tanks feel slow and inert, with turrets that take time to rotate.

Then comes the main gun: a loud bang, a shell flying out, and a faint trail of smoke leaving the tank’s barrel. I can’t really say if each tank behaves differently, as they may feel quite similar. I did enjoy the free-view camera, which reminded me of games like World of Tanks. However, the Tank Control menu felt a bit strange and unintuitive. Also, if you don’t know how to shoot—you need to select the gun in the Tank Menu and then switch to the shell icon on your Hotbar.
