SkyBound – into the horizon
I always appreciate these kinds of small addons that introduce just one feature to the game, but execute it to perfection. The Skybound addon adds a single aircraft, yet it's packed with intricate animations and physics that make it stand out. I’d say the addon is realistic, but not to the point where it becomes frustrating. Yawing, pitching, hovering, and landing maneuvers are all clearly visible thanks to the smooth animations.
This airplane is powered by Coal—not exactly the most eco-friendly fuel. When you first board the plane, you’ll notice it includes a speedometer. And just like real aircraft, it needs to build up speed before it can take off, so be sure to find a flat area or build yourself a proper runway.
