Brewin and Chewin addon
Brewin and Chewin is a rich, food-and-drink-focused expansion designed as a DLC for the Farmer’s Delight addon on Minecraft Bedrock Edition. Without the base Farmer’s Delight installed, you won’t be able to craft many of the items in this addon, so make sure it’s up and running first.
This addon introduces alcoholic beverages like Beer, Ale, Vodka, and Rum, which come with fun—but sometimes dizzying—effects if you drink too much. Alongside drinks, you’ll get new dishes such as Pizza, Quiche, and various types of Cheese, adding a cozy and flavorful atmosphere to your Minecraft world.

Brewing and Cooking Basics
- To get started with food or drink preparation, you’ll need some special tools:
- Keg: Used for fermenting drinks like Beer or Vodka and aging cheeses.
- Fondue Pot: Allows you to prepare snacks and melted cheese dishes.
- Cutting Board: Useful for slicing items like Pizza and Quiche.
Temperature System
- Cooking in Brewin and Chewin is temperature-sensitive. There are five temperature stages that affect food prep:
- Cold: 2 cold blocks (like Ice or Ice Crates) nearby.
- Chilly: 1 cold block nearby.
- Normal: No cold or heat blocks nearby.
- Warm: 1 heat block (Campfire, Lava, Magma, Stove, etc.).
- Hot: 2 heat blocks.
The heat or cold must be within 2 blocks of the cooking tool. Managing this is essential for crafting properly brewed drinks or finished dishes.
Cheese and Fermentation
- You can ferment Flaxen and Scarlet Cheese in a Keg. These cheeses start immature and must be aged over time:
- Place the immature cheese block on a surface.
- Wait in-game time (similar to real cheese aging).
- Mature cheese is used for higher-tier recipes.
Pizza and Quiche
- Both of these items are made using the Crafting Table. Once crafted, you can:
- Place them on a surface and interact with your hand to eat a slice.
- Or use a Knife on a Cutting Board to divide them into 4 servings.
