Portable Beacon addon
The Portable Beacon is a convenient item that can activate beacon powers for you wherever you are. By themselves, beacons are very useful, but they have one single flaw: they function only at a certain range.
You can overcome this limitation by getting a portable beacon, but that will come at a steep price. To balance things out and prevent you from getting your hands on the beacon early in the game, you will require a huge amount of resources to make one.

To craft a Portable Beacon, you will need a Beacon Table and dozens of blocks of Emerald, Iron, Diamond, or Gold (or six Netherite Ingots) and a Beacon.
