Halo addon
Suit up in Spartan armor equipped with an energy shield, giving you an edge in every fight with the Halo addon for Bedrock. Wield a range of powerful Halo-inspired guns and drive the legendary Warthog into combat zones. The Halo addon doesn't just reskin mobs — it creates a full narrative, complete with the arrival of the Covenant and Flood, and a mission that ties into Minecraft's Ender Dragon showdown.

Run Spartan, Run
When I approached this addon, I was amazed by the sheer amount of content it was packed with, but also overwhelmed. I loaded a freshly created world with the addon installed and instantly died. Turns out, a group of Brutes equipped with Plasma Guns spawned right beside me. Along with them on the platform stood the Warthog. I wasn't equipped for such a battle, so I ran. I immediately noticed new structures which, upon closer inspection, turned out to be faction bases. Heretics, Brutes, and Hunters were swarming those, so I avoided the combat and proceeded to explore. At some point, I found a plane wreckage. Inside were crates, and in one of them was a Red Spartan armor set and a gun — an Assault Rifle. Now, I could engage in combat and experience the addon at its fullest.
No crafting allowed
And that's my first gripe: you can't craft things, only find them or win them in combat. For some of you, it may not be a big deal, but for me, crafting is an essential part of the Minecraft experience. But let's talk more about the good parts of the Halo addon. What it does well is capturing the character of the mobs, guns, vehicles, and armor with high-quality models. That said, it is clear that this addon will put a strain on weak devices. I ran it on PC personally, but from my experience, this kind of model heavily impacts FPS on mobile.
About the vehicles
I also want to talk a little about vehicles. There are a few available: Banshee, Warthog, Ghost, and Shade. I tried the Warthog and it drove well. The Banshee, though, I wasn't able to get inside — I don't know if that's a bug. But instead, I saw that mobs can control the Banshee and they will fly and attack you violently.
