Iron Golems were the first of their kind, protectors of the weak, but time went by and the Golem Age has come. New elements of the earth—metals, amethyst, copper, and dozens more—sprouted in the most peculiar ways, giving birth to new golems. Some of them are gigantic in size, even bigger than Iron Golems; some are small and fragile, like the Quartz Golem. In this Brave New World of golems, they each serve their own function, which ranges from peaceful activities such as resource gathering, farming, and storing items to combat-efficient golems.

The amount of information about golems can be a little overwhelming, but to help combat that, there is an in-game Golem Guidebook which also contains instructions on how to summon them. To summon each one, you have to build a specific totem. You can see how I built all of them in the screenshots attached to this article—memorizing all of them would be impossible. Overall, the addon is great. It allows you to create an entire golem town that is protected and automatically run by these creatures.

Emerald Golem – Grants temporary Hero of the Village effect when corrupted.
Quartz Golem – Trades Nether Quartz for random ores.
Gold Golem – Converts Piglin trade items into Gold Nuggets.
Coal Golem – Acts as a mobile furnace, chest, and light source.
Lapis Lazuli Golem – Removes enchantments from items and transfers them to books.
Redstone Golem – Protects against undead and regenerates Redstone Dust over time.
Diamond Golem – Powerful defender, immune during ground-slam; upgraded Iron Golem.
Netherite Golem – Boss golem; drops high-value loot and Igneous Netherite.
Glowstone Golem – Rides on your shoulder as a portable light source.
Tuff Golem – Displays and holds items; robe color can be dyed.
Dirt Golem – Automatically plants, grows, and harvests crops.
Sandstone Golem – Damages any mob that touches it; good for mob farms.
Sand Golem – Functions as a sand trap for unsuspecting mobs or players.
Clay Golem – Acts like a worker; uses tools and armor like a player.
Terracotta Golem – Upgraded Clay Golem; stationary worker with higher efficiency.
Deepslate Golem – Disables Shriekers and despawns Wardens in the Deep Dark.
Gravel Golem – Recycles tools/armor into materials or Experience.
End Stone Golem – Flyable and ridable; can carry items when given a Chest.
Prismarine Golem – Rideable underwater mount that provides infinite air.
Calcite Golem – Stationary turret; shoots arrows at enemies.
Mud Golem – Converts Bone Meal into random seeds or saplings.
Basalt Golem – Ridable lava mount with chest storage for two players.
Netherrack Golem – Fireball-shooting pet that attacks mobs (and sometimes you!).
Dripstone Golem – Heals nearby friendly mobs using dripping water.
Blackstone Golem – Infinite lava source; gives Lava Buckets when clicked.
Amethyst Golem – Grows Amethyst clusters and shares its active effects with others.
Purpur Golem – Teleportation waypoint and mobile bunker; provides safe fast travel.
Stone Golem – Basic tamed guard that fights hostile mobs.
Ice Golem – Freezes water into Frosted Ice; boosts boat speed.
Magma Golem – Creates temporary magma bridges over lava.
Diorite Golem – Attacks specific mobs chosen via items placed in its inventory.
Granite Golem – Acts as a decoy, distracting enemies by blocking attacks.
Andesite Golem – Uses knockback attacks to keep enemies away.
Obsidian Golem – Shared, cross-dimensional storage system; loads nearby chunks.
Bone Golem – Flyable drone you can pilot and scout through.
Sculk Golem – Stores and manages player Experience (details pending).
Resin Golem – Invincible area guardian that defends a set zone using its Heart.
