Smooth Pixels
My game has never looked as sleek as it does with the Smooth Pixels resource pack. I should note — it shines the most (no pun intended) when used with Vibrant Visuals. Seriously, the effects from VV complement this simple pack so well that it feels like a cohesive whole.
The pack is also strategically saturated, meaning textures pop out only when it's needed. For instance, you definitely want Creepers to stand out against the environment so you can spot them earlier. To me, the pack feels like a smoothed-out vanilla, which I really appreciate. If you want a well-optimized, simple texture pack, Smooth Pixels is a great choice.
