Taming is central to the experience and takes inspiration from Ark:
- Use ARK Crossbows and Narcotic Arrows to put dinosaurs to sleep before taming.
- Feed them the correct type of Kibble—Aquatic, Carnivore, Herbivore, or Arthropod—depending on the species.
- Once tamed, ride them into battle or use them as companions to survive the harsh world.
- The taming mechanics add depth and reward planning, making every successful tame feel like a major achievement.
The addon introduces several tools to enhance gameplay:
- Grappling Hook – Perfect for escaping danger or reaching hard-to-access places.
- Whips – Can trigger special abilities in your tamed dinosaurs.
- Narcoberries – Used to craft Narcotic Arrows; can be bought or farmed.
- Various Equipment – Designed for interacting with and controlling dinos.
