Roam the Seas on Your Own Ship

The ship is arguably the most important part of any pirate game or addon. In Salt & Ships, you will sail aboard your personal vessel, which you can name and upgrade. With you will be your trusty crew of pirates, whom you'll hire with Coins.

Ship upgrades are carried out through the Shipwright's Table. Through the menu, you will first need to plan the upgrades, gather the required materials, and finalize them. Mahogany wood is the base of almost every upgrade. With it, you can improve your ship's hull, ram, barrels, and even install lifeboats.

Endless Hunt for Treasures

Every respectable pirate's pursuit is treasure. In this particular addon, you will find it buried in sand with a mark on top, inside caves, or in pirate strongholds. One of these strongholds actually spawned almost on top of me, and it caused the game to crash.

The structure was touching the sky. It was so enormous that the game couldn't handle it.

I've also encountered an unfortunate bug with the flintlocks rendering abnormally large in first-person mode.
