A Quiet Place

A Quiet Place turns Minecraft into a pure survival nightmare where making even a single sound can be fatal. As soon as you join the world, a devastating meteorite shower crashes down — and with those meteorites come the Death Angels. These terrifying alien creatures are completely blind, but their hearing is extraordinarily sharp.

Death Angel Mechanics

Don't even think about running or walking anywhere near a Death Angel. Your best option is to crouch — or better yet, stand completely still!

You can damp the sound of your footsteps by crafting Woolen Boots. Additionally, standard swords and arrows won't pierce their armored hide by default. To hurt them, you must first stun them with high-frequency sounds, and the addon provides two main tools for this:

• Hearing Aid: A portable device that stuns nearby Death Angels when activated.

• Speakers: Deployable units that emit continuous loud sounds to weaken incoming enemies.

These mobs are terrifyingly fast and will pretty much one-shot you if you're spotted. I even discovered a larger variant among them that appears to be their Queen!

Once you manage to defeat a Death Angel, you can harvest their extremely tough hide to craft an endgame armor set.

Final Thoughts

For me, the best part of this addon is the constant tension of needing to stay stealthy. You have to remain cautious, use distractions, and plan every move strategically if you want to survive.
