Immersive Combat
Immersive Combat introduces deep mechanical changes to Bedrock, moving away from primitive "attack spamming" and toward a tactical experience. This addon was clearly inspired by The Witcher series (might want to use medieval texture pack with it), and once you see the mechanics in action, you'll understand why.

Core Combat Mechanics
-
Combos: By hitting your target sequentially, you build combo levels. Missing strikes or taking damage will cause your combo to break.
-
Multipliers: As your combo grows, your damage multiplier increases, significantly boosting your weapon's lethality.
-
Sharpness: Every weapon has a "Sharpness" stat that degrades with use. As sharpness drops, so does your damage. You can restore your edge using a Whetstone.
-
Parry: Press the Crouch button to parry. A "Perfect Parry" (timed precisely) nearly nullifies damage and debuffs the enemy, while a standard parry offers less protection.
-
Dodge & Roll: To dodge, press Jump along with a direction (Left, Right, Forward, or Backward). You can also perform a combat roll by jumping while sprinting.
Special Abilities & Signs
-
Special Attacks: Certain weapons feature unique moves, such as charges, which require specific combo levels to execute.
-
The Sign System: This allows you to "spend" your hard-earned combo levels on powerful magic. You can cast classic signs like Igni, Aard, Quen, and Yrden.
How It All Comes Together
The system creates a rhythmic flow: you build combo levels by attacking mobs while simultaneously dodging or parrying their strikes. Once you’ve reached a high enough combo, you unleash it through powerful Signs or special weapon attacks.
Known Quirks: The Camera
The most noticeable change — and potential "bugbear" — is the camera. Unlike the vanilla Minecraft view, this addon uses a fixed over-the-shoulder perspective. This is designed to showcase the beautiful new attack animations, but it can feel quite rigid. Fortunately, the addon's Settings (accessible via the menu) offer several camera presets so you can find the one that fits your playstyle best.
