Elemental Weapons addon

Elemental Weapons Revamped is a new take on the concept of weapons imbued with elemental powers, but is it a successful one? Before it was remade, this addon featured a variety of weapon types, such as maces and longswords; however, the current version features only elemental Katanas. While that would be a fine starting point, the addon has one major problem that makes it impossible to recommend.

The optimization is quite poor and caused my PC to experience massive lag. When you use any of the various Katanas (Fire, Ice, and others) the weapon begins evoking elemental magic around the character to damage nearby mobs. When this happens, the addon spawns a massive amount of particles, which is the root of the performance drop. This issue makes Elemental Weapons Revamped completely unusable, and therefore, I cannot recommend it in its current state.
