AurorianCraft — reimagined survival

AurorianCraft reimagines survival in Minecraft Bedrock by adding layers of complexity to every process. Forget the days of simply crafting a tool on a table; now, you’ll have to create molds, pour in molten metal, and attach the finished head to a handle. Even the early stages of the game have changed drastically—you are no longer allowed to chop wood with your bare hands. This add-on is perfect for players who crave a more realistic survival challenge.

Aurorian Guidebook

The Aurorian Guidebook

Upon starting, you will receive a guidebook containing all the necessary steps to survive and progress through the mod's new systems.

Inventory limits

Early survival is quite difficult, partially due to inventory restrictions. You start with only nine slots, though this can be expanded as you progress.

First Steps

Your journey begins by foraging for sticks and stone pebbles scattered on the ground. By crouching and interacting with grass, you can gather plant fibers. These three ingredients—sticks, stones, and fibers—are the base for your first tools. To begin, take a stone pebble and interact with a solid block; a menu will pop up, allowing you to choose which tool head to create.

The Next Big Goal

Your first major milestone is creating a Wood Chopping Block, which allows you to make planks and, eventually, a Crafting Table. To progress, you will need a Flint Axe. You can find flint by punching gravel with your hands (as in vanilla), or you can craft gravel from stone pebbles. Interacting with a stone block while holding flint will open a menu where you can choose what to craft. Once you have a Crafting Table, your journey becomes much easier.

The Endgame & Industry

Eventually, your journey will lead to metalworking and smithing. You will need to melt metal and pour it into molds to create high-tier tools and armor. The mod also introduces Phosphorus and Sulfur ores, a pottery system, and new animals like ducks and turkeys that you can breed for your farm. While it takes time to master these systems, the sheer amount of content makes the investment well worth it.
