Extra Equipment addon
The Extra Equipment addon introduces a visual cooldown system, a variety of new tools and weapons, custom armor materials, and even a throwable boomerang. It enhances both PvE and survival gameplay without changing Minecraft's core too drastically.
One of the key features of the addon is the visual combat cooldown bar, now displayed at the center of the screen. This system encourages timing and strategy: if you wait for the cooldown to fully reset before attacking, your hit will deal normal damage. But if you strike too early, the cooldown resets and the attack does reduced damage. This simple change adds depth to every fight.

Scythes can auto-harvest and replant crops like wheat, carrots, potatoes, and beets if seeds are in your inventory. Also capable of dealing sweeping attacks in a 4-block radius.
The boomerang is another useful tool added by the addon. When thrown, it always travels a fixed distance and can collect items along its path. Although it may appear to stay in your hand briefly after throwing, this is intentional to manage durability. You’ll even see a message in the action bar if you try to throw it again too soon. The boomerang is also enchantable, and you can check its damage in the item description.

New Weapons and Modified Old Ones

- Swords now deal sweeping damage in a 2-block radius. (Cooldown: 8 ticks)
- Axes can land extra critical hits. (Cooldown: 16 ticks)
- Scimitar functions like a sword but with a much faster cooldown. (4 ticks)
- Rapier allows for extremely fast combos—up to one hit per tick.
- SAPS is a powerful multi-tool that works as an axe, pickaxe, shovel, and sword.
Area-Based Tools
- Long Sword: Sweeps in a 3-block radius. (Cooldown: 16 ticks)
- Excavator: Digs a 3×3 area, perfect for fast excavation.
- Hammer: Breaks a 3×3 area and knocks enemies back. (Cooldown: 32 ticks)
- Lumberjack Axe: Similar to an axe but with the ability to break entire trees. (Cooldown: 32 ticks)
