Flashlight addon
Build yourself a flashlight and forget about carrying hundreds of torches in your inventory. This modern solution to the endless cave darkness is not only resource-efficient but also very atmospheric. Imagine creeping through the dense greenery of a pitch-black mine, starting to hear unsettling sounds around you. In panic, you reach for your flashlight, its concentrated beam cutting through the dark. You wiggle it frantically, pointing at every corner—only to find nothing... The flashlight, used in so many horror games, makes the experience genuinely terrifying.
To push the horror vibe even further, the addon includes a Fog Control Tool. It hard-locks your render distance, making everything beyond it fade into pitch-black nothingness. The flashlight itself is fairly cheap to craft: you’ll need 1x Iron Ingot, 1x Redstone Dust, 1x Redstone Lamp, and 1x Dye of your preferred color.
