Liminal Spaces map

Submerge yourself in pure horror with the Liminal Spaces map! The prime example of a liminal space is, of course, the Backrooms: a location that feels instantly familiar, yet somehow completely wrong and deeply unsettling.

Minecraft is the ideal platform to experiment with liminal spaces, as the game naturally creates recognizable environments that can easily be twisted into something sinister. Rather than a linear campaign with a traditional ending, this map consists of multiple surreal environments designed to be experienced rather than "beaten."

The only drawback for me was the heavy fog effect — at times, it felt a bit too restrictive when trying to navigate through the levels.
