Join the cast of The Boys as one of the superheroes from the show with this Minecraft addon! Assume the identity and powers of Homelander, A-Train, Starlight, The Deep, Stormfront, and others. But remember — this isn't Marvel, and these heroes might not be as righteous as people think.

How to Gain Powers

• Buy Compound V: The first method is getting Compound V from Butcher's crew. As you explore, you can randomly spot a van with all the team members. Mother's Milk will sell you Compound V, which grants temporary random powers.

• Craft Hero Abilities: The second method is crafting and assuming the identity of an established hero. To do this, you'll need to craft a new type of Workbench to build specific power sets.

My first choice was Homelander, obviously — and boy, is he ruthless! His abilities are super cool, but what shocked me was how graphic the gore effects are when obliterating a mob with laser eyes or sonic attacks. Blood and body parts scatter everywhere, so consider yourself warned!

Boss Fights & Strategy

There are also Homelander and Stormfront bosses you can challenge. I crossed swords with Homelander just to see how tough he was — and even after unleashing every electric power at my disposal, I barely made a dent in his health pool.

However, he drops crucial items if you want to progress through the addon in Survival mode. The best tactic seems to be securing temporary Compound V powerups before attempting this fight.

On The Show's Humor

The Boys addon also inherits the show's dark humor. For instance, The Deep's only power is summoning a whale to ride on its back... How can someone be so useless?
