Companions
Time spent in Minecraft's mines can become lonely sometimes; that's when companions come into play. There are ten companions who are very different in character and design, but each and every one of them is a useful, loyal ally.

I will never have enough friends to play with me all the time, so I decided to tame Kora, one of the companions who grabbed my eye due to her character design.
| Companion | Spawn Location | Taming Item | Enhancement Item |
|---|---|---|---|
| Conelli | House in Birch Forest | Golden Carrot | Ambrosia |
| Gregory | Cave in Mega Taiga | Rabbit Stew | Ambrosia |
| Melia | House in Flower Forest | Honeycomb | Ambrosia |
| Mario | Mansion in Roofed Forest | Diamond | Ambrosia |
| Ceres | Pillager Camp in Plains | Golden Apple | Ambrosia |
| Aldric | Ruined structure in Savanna Plateau | Soul Lantern (after defeating him) | Ambrosia |
| Luna | Crashed spacecraft in Cherry Grove | Echo Shard | Ambrosia |
| Visitor | Alien mothership in Snowy Slopes | Poisonous Potato | Ambrosia |
| Kora | Training Hall in Savanna | Rabbit Foot | Ambrosia |
| Lost Traveller | Campsite in Oak Forest | Beef | Ambrosia |
There are two special companions that you need to defeat in combat before you're allowed to tame them: Shadow Gregory and Aldric. I bested Shadow Gregory just to show you how it is done.
Along with the companions, the addon features special items — such as weapons, talismans, or decorative pieces. My favorite was the Ray Gun, a powerful ranged weapon belonging to the Visitor, a friendly alien in a saucer.
