Create is an automation addon for Minecraft Bedrock that uses gears, kinetic energy, and steam power to bring your machines to life. Using a versatile toolkit of mechanical components, you can build complex contraptions to automate the production and transport of items.

How It Works: Generating Power

Everything begins with energy generation. To power your machines, you first need a source of rotation:

• The Hand Crank: The most basic kinetic generator. Simply tap it to manually rotate your gears.
• The Water Wheel: A better option for automated power. Place it in a flowing water source and watch it turn on its own.
• The Steam Engine: A high-tier power source featured in the addon for those looking to build advanced, high-output industrial systems.

Transmitting Power: Make the Gears Spin 

Once you have an energy source, you must transmit that rotation to your machinery using Shafts, Gearboxes, and Cogwheels:

• Shafts: These transmit power along a straight horizontal or vertical axis.
• Gearboxes and Cogwheels: Since shafts cannot be connected at an angle, you’ll need to use gearboxes or a series of Cogwheels to change the direction of rotation (e.g., from horizontal to vertical).

Powering the Machines

Components such as Fans, Mechanical Arms, and Water Pumps must be connected to your rotational network via cogwheels to function.

• The Mechanical Arm: This tool allows you to move items between containers automatically.
• Automation: For example, you can build a storage vault and use mechanical arms to move Coal into a furnace, then transport the finished product into a chest, creating a primitive but effective production line.
• Blaze Burner: Feed it with Coal or Blaze Rods to generate heat.
