Take control of your defense by parrying melee and bow attacks with a sword or any tool in Minecraft Bedrock. The mechanic is very straightforward: if you strike with a tool just moments before an enemy’s attack lands, the incoming damage will be negated. This allows you to stand your ground against even the most aggressive mobs.

Pro Tip: In practice, you can simply spam the attack button to parry the majority of incoming strikes while simultaneously dealing damage to your opponent. It turns you into a formidable force on the battlefield!
