Trial Roguelike map
Trial Roguelike is a map for Minecraft Bedrock that offers an experience similar to the roguelike genre. In this case, your gameplay loop goes like this: you enter a trial room and fight whatever is thrown at you, then proceed to the rewards chamber, and finally to the hub room, where you can repair and upgrade your gear—rinse and repeat. The difficulty of the trials grows exponentially, but you’ll also be given tools to balance it out. You can level up your character and choose from several special skills.
My experience with the map was good. The trials start off very simple, with just a couple of zombies spawning. Since the rooms are small, it makes sense to choose your position strategically so you don’t get cornered. After each challenge room, it was very fun to open the trial chest because I never knew what I’d get. As for cons, I’d say the first ten challenge rooms felt a bit repetitive, with not much variety.
