Realistic Biomes

Realistic Biomes 1.2.2 changes your perception of vanilla biomes by boosting their visuals with stunning effects. We know and love this studio for its work on Actions & Stuff, but this addon improves a completely different side of Minecraft Bedrock.

What to Expect from Realistic Biomes

  • Dynamic Weather: Blizzards, sandstorms, and enhanced rainstorms.
  • Improved Sky: Auroras, shooting stars, and more realistic clouds.
  • Enhanced Lighting: Dynamic light from held items and a better overall atmosphere.
  • Biome-Specific Effects: Unique fog, colors, particles, and ambiance for each biome.
  • Immersive Sounds: Richer environmental and weather audio.

Immediately after I loaded into the world, I noticed the changes. Not all of them were positive, though, because my FPS dropped noticeably. The addon introduced a lot more fog to the scene — obviously to combat performance issues. I disabled the display of vanilla clouds, as advised by the guide, and from there, my Realistic Biomes experience truly began.

I would compare this addon to RealismCraft; in fact, it delivers many of the same effects. Almost every biome has something unique going for it. In the desert, it was tumbleweeds; in the Cherry Blossom biome, it was the wind carrying pink petals. This addon is for those of you who appreciate top-tier visuals, even if they come at the cost of performance.
