Naruto Craft
Naruto Craft is the most impressive attempt to translate the iconic anime into a Minecraft addon format. This addon achieves multiple impressive things at once, but it's not without some serious flaws either.
My main challenge with this addon was the lack of English localization, which hindered my ability to learn the ropes. Hopefully, we will see translations to other languages in future updates.

First Steps into the Ninja World
In its progression structure, the addon reminds me of a Dragon Ball mod. You start by training and leveling up your character to challenge bosses, which opens up a way to learn new fighting techniques. Naruto's universe has its own way of ranking ninjas, and the lowest rank is called Genin. To become a Chunin, you need to craft a uniform.
While they didn't spawn in my world for some reason, you should normally see Shadow Clone Ninjas spawning in the wild. They are the most basic enemy, but every enemy has a purpose in this addon — they drop a crafting material that looks like blue leather. Collect eight pieces of leather and a string, put the item you've just crafted into a Stonecutter, and you've got yourself a uniform.
As I mentioned, to progress you need to fight increasingly powerful enemies. Finding those enemies randomly is highly unlikely, but there is an item called a Rune that can pinpoint the exact location of your first boss. Defeating each boss opens the way to the next one and allows you to train your character in the ways of their Jutsus. The creator of the addon claims there are missions one can undertake, but I don't know exactly how to access them.
What sold this addon for me, though, is how great the Jutsus look. The Rasengan, Susanoo, and Chidori are all masterfully animated with epic visuals. To use a Jutsu, you need to equip a certain item — for Susanoo, it is the Mangekyou Sharingan, for example. Also, sometimes you have multiple techniques in a single hotbar slot; in that case, you can switch between them by crouching.
This addon has an amazing future in front of it, and I encourage you to try it now.
