The Magic System

Everything starts with a Scroll. An Empty Scroll acts as a vessel for magic spells. However, spells must be learned before you can scribe them onto a scroll. Recipes and ancient texts required to learn these spells can be found within unique ruins spawning throughout the world, such as Mage's Towers.

This addon introduces three custom crafting utilities: the Spell Crafter, Scroll Crafter, and Spell Manager. Each serves a specific purpose in the process of binding magic into scrolls or books. Spellbooks allow you to permanently store up to three spells and, unlike scrolls, do not consume durability upon use. Finally, casting a spell depletes your Mana pool. Mana regenerates automatically over time and its recovery rate can be boosted using rare artifacts.

It's All About the Journey

The mythical elements of this addon, including custom mobs, structures, and lore — truly enrich the world. I traveled through several biomes before stumbling across my first structure: a magnificent Mage's Tower that shone in the night like a giant purple torch. After climbing the spiral stairs to the summit, I encountered a mob resembling a flying wizard. He hovered there as if guarding ancient secrets, yet appeared completely indifferent to my presence. Amidst the massive collection of bookshelves in the center, I discovered a tome of ancient texts that granted me my very first spell: Spark.

Peculiar Mechanisms

• Orb Ponderer: Functions similarly to an Enchanting Table but allows you to select a specific enchantment.

• Chiller: A redstone-powered trap that slows down any mobs caught within its radius.

• Magnetic Pistons: Actively push or pull items susceptible to magnetism.

• Transporter: A redstone-driven device capable of teleporting items across distances.

There are many more discoveries waiting to be made just by exploring the world. Keep your guard up, as the places you visit and the entities you encounter will not always be friendly.
