How to Find and Tame a Night Fury

The addon features both the Night Fury and the Light Fury; both dragons can be found in the Taiga biome. Taming them is a challenge because they rarely stay in one place. They will often take off into the sky and circle high above you.

To bring a dragon down, you'll need to deal damage using a Crossbow or another ranged weapon. This creates a small window of opportunity to feed the beast Raw Salmon — the only food it will accept. Make sure to bring at least a full stack of salmon, as these dragons require a lot of food before they are tamed.

Saddling and Roaming the Skies

Once tamed, you can mount your dragon, but you’ll need a Saddle to control its flight. The mod includes custom saddles inspired by the movies, designed to help with the "broken fin" on the dragon's tail.

Interestingly, I found that the custom saddle didn't work for my Night Fury, but a vanilla Saddle worked perfectly. If you run into trouble, try swapping between different saddle types until you find one that works. The process for the Light Fury is exactly the same.

Combat and Flight

To take flight, simply press Jump. Once you are in the air, you can tap the screen (or use your action key) to perform a powerful plasma blast attack from the dragon’s mouth.

Verdict: I highly recommend this addon for fans of the How to Train Your Dragon movies and for anyone who wants a high-quality, fantasy-style mount that fits the game perfectly.
