Tempered in Flame
Prepare for a complete overhaul of the Nether dimension in Minecraft Bedrock, making it more interesting to explore than ever before.
I’ll start by discussing what I appreciate most about this mod. First, the aesthetic and design of the mobs and armor are fantastic — they remind me of a unique mix between DOOM and Tron.

Instead of vast, barren spaces, Tempered in Flame features dense, almost jungle-like biomes. Some, like the Toxic Wastes biome, aren't even traditionally "hellish"; instead, they focus on radiation, reminiscent of Miyazaki’s famous toxic swamps.

The addon also introduces new structures to keep exploration exciting. While you'll find abandoned buildings and trial rooms, you’ll most often stumble upon Geodes — large, hollow stone formations filled with glowing crystals.

To tie everything together, the addon adds a host of new enemies, including Nether Creeper variants, Radioactive Golems, and the Hovering Inferno miniboss.

As for the downsides, the addon crashed my game upon entering the Toxic Wastes biome. I’m not entirely sure why, but lowering my render distance seemed to help slightly. It’s possible the crash is related to the high density of particles or the complex terrain generation within that specific area.
Survival in the Nether has become significantly more challenging — you'll have to venture there and find out for yourself!
