Dynamic Seasons addon

Watch as seasons dynamically change and adapt to sometimes harsh weather conditions with this mod. This addon introduces four seasons that change every 28 in-game days. During a season there is higher chance to witness certain weather conditions like raining, snowfall or clear skies. Seasons also affect how quick the crops grow. You can track season and lookup weather forecast in the in-game Almanac.

Temper your expectations with this addon, as it works within the game's limitations. It does not replace ground blocks or tree leaves depending on the season. It also relies on vanilla weather, rather than adding custom effects. In fact, most visual differentiation between seasons comes from colored fog and lighting changes.
