Arcane Trinkets addon transforms Minecraft into an RPG-style character customization experience by adding 260 unique trinkets that provide various magical effects and abilities. Trinkets can be found as loot in all major Minecraft structures (Ancient Cities, Desert Pyramids, Dungeons, etc.). Specific mobs drop some, and many can be crafted on specialized tables.
Create focused builds like fire-immune explorers (Obsidian Skull), underwater specialists (Neptune's Shell for breathing + swimming), or speed demons (multiple movement trinkets stacking for 60%+ speed increases). Trinkets solve common Minecraft annoyances - immunity to fall damage, enhanced mining speed, item magnetism, improved underwater vision, and protection from various status effects.
Many trinkets can be combined or work together, allowing for powerful synergies like the Ankh Shield (damage reduction + fire immunity + debuff immunity) or movement speed stacking.

What You Need to Know to Start:
- Build a Talisman Table and Jewelry Table (the two main crafting stations)
- Mine Marble blocks (found at most layers, mineable with stone pickaxe)
- Smelt raw marble to create crafting materials
- Craft Essence of Effects to create accessories
- Get access to the Trinket inventory via a scroll
