AddVenture addon
The AddVenture addon is trying to breathe new life into your in-game world without completely changing what makes the game feel like Minecraft. You will be seeing fresh content in all the existing biomes - forests, birch forests, deserts, plains, savannas, swamps, taigas, and beaches.

One of the new items being added is this thing called "Shroom Silk" which drops from shelf mushroom blocks on tree trunks. Right now, you can use it to craft more shelf mushroom blocks, but it is planned to expand its use later on.
For new mobs, the Boulderling is introduced, which sounds pretty tough! It's a hostile creature with both melee and ranged attacks that you'll find in the new Plains Ruins structures. The good news is that when you beat it, you get the Luminite Crystals.
Speaking of structures, the Plains Ruins come in three different variations and each one has a Trial Spawner in the middle along with some Luminite Crystals. Just be careful because those Boulderlings are guarding them!
