Block Magnet addon

Block Magnet is an item that allows you to increase your pickup radius in Minecraft. While the magnet is active, any blocks lying on the ground will be attracted to your character. By default, it only slightly increases the radius by a few additional blocks. However, both the speed and the effective range of the magnet can be improved by spending experience levels to upgrade it. Open the upgrade menu by tapping or right-clicking, while Crouching.

You can even switch the magnet to "Repel" mode to push blocks away. This addon is especially useful when mining blocks that might fall into deep ravines or near dangerous lava lakes.
