Tinker's Legacy: Reforged addon
Tinker’s Legacy: Reforged is an addon that introduces an advanced crafting system using blueprints and special materials such as alloys. The addon is heavily inspired by Tinker’s Construct but presented in a more approachable form. It avoids the overly complex systems where you’d need a degree to figure things out. I was able to craft my first custom Scythe just 15 minutes into gameplay. All you need to do is choose a material and craft a blueprint with it. However, not everything comes so easily—some materials are rare and will require a bit of grinding to obtain. If you still going to have troubles after reading this guide, you can always open an in-game Guidebook for additional explanations.

Blank Blueprints are your planning component—craft them early so you’re ready for whatever recipes use them later.
Craft Paper
3× Sawdust + 1× Slimeball → Paper (in a crafting grid).
Craft Blank Blueprint
4× Paper + 1× Blue Dye → Blank Blueprint.

You’ll want these stations handy:
Gather both vanilla and new ores:
New ores: Lead, Silver, Cobalt, Ruby, Brimstone, Tin
Bases you’ll use: Wood, Stone, Iron, Gold, Diamond, Netherite, Copper, Emerald, Obsidian, Slime, Brimstone, Cobalt, Lead, Ruby, Silver, Tin

Stonecutter: Put any ore in → get its Dust.
Tinker’s Workstation: Same result—convert ore → Dust.
Example: Copper Ore → Copper Dust

Smelt Dust → Ingot in a Blast Furnace.
Example: Copper Dust → Copper Ingot
Blend stage (Tinker’s Workstation):
Combine the required dusts to craft an Alloy Blend (check in-game recipes).
Smelt stage (Blast Furnace only):
Alloy Blend → Alloy Ingot.
Alloys available: Bronze, Electrum, Steel, Dragonscale, Enderium
Flow example: [Alloy Dusts] → (Tinker’s) Alloy Blend → (Blast Furnace) Alloy Ingots

After all the prep work is done, combine the ingots or alloys to craft specific Blueprints. Place a Blueprint on the ground and use it as a crafting table for that alloy’s items.

Each new material has built-in magical properties
- Cobalt: Speed burst chance on hit
- Lead: Poison damage with backfire risk
- Obsidian: Lifesteal when at low health
- Silver: Bonus damage against undead/unholy mobs
- Mystery Material: Damage scaling with target's current health
How It Works

1) Paper → Blank Blueprint
Blank Blueprints are your planning component—craft them early so you’re ready for whatever recipes use them later.
Craft Paper
3× Sawdust + 1× Slimeball → Paper (in a crafting grid).
Craft Blank Blueprint
4× Paper + 1× Blue Dye → Blank Blueprint.

2) Set up your processing chain
You’ll want these stations handy:
- Stonecutter (quickly turns ores into dust)
- Tinker’s Workstation (makes dust and alloy blends)
- Furnace / Blast Furnace (smelting; Blast Furnace for alloys)
3) Mine & list of ores
Gather both vanilla and new ores:
New ores: Lead, Silver, Cobalt, Ruby, Brimstone, Tin
Bases you’ll use: Wood, Stone, Iron, Gold, Diamond, Netherite, Copper, Emerald, Obsidian, Slime, Brimstone, Cobalt, Lead, Ruby, Silver, Tin

4) Turn ores into dust
Stonecutter: Put any ore in → get its Dust.
Tinker’s Workstation: Same result—convert ore → Dust.
Example: Copper Ore → Copper Dust

5) Make ingots (single-metal)
Smelt Dust → Ingot in a Blast Furnace.
Example: Copper Dust → Copper Ingot
6) Make alloys (two-stage process)
Blend stage (Tinker’s Workstation):
Combine the required dusts to craft an Alloy Blend (check in-game recipes).
Smelt stage (Blast Furnace only):
Alloy Blend → Alloy Ingot.
Alloys available: Bronze, Electrum, Steel, Dragonscale, Enderium
Flow example: [Alloy Dusts] → (Tinker’s) Alloy Blend → (Blast Furnace) Alloy Ingots

7) Make specific blueprints
After all the prep work is done, combine the ingots or alloys to craft specific Blueprints. Place a Blueprint on the ground and use it as a crafting table for that alloy’s items.
