New biome

New Systems and Upgrades

This addon improves multiple aspects of gameplay, introducing brand-new mechanics alongside upgrades to existing ones.

Backpacks are now part of the game, giving you a great way to expand your inventory. Crafted from leather, backpacks offer more space, which is especially helpful during long adventures or mining trips.

Copper Armor fills the gap between Leather and Iron. It’s stronger than leather but not as tough as iron, making it useful for early combat, especially when exploring caves filled with hostile mobs.

Quest menu

Quests, Loot, and Exploration

The Quest System adds a whole new layer to survival. When you start a world, you get a Closed Quest Scroll. Open it to access a special quest menu with three tiers:
  • New Start
  • Better on Bedrock
  • Beyond the Overworld

Each tier has goals and challenges. Once completed, players must manually claim their rewards, making progression more rewarding and interactive.

You’ll also find Lootbags in chests at Trader Outposts, which give random useful items when opened—adding a fun bonus to exploration.

Waystones and Teleportation

Waystones are now part of your adventure. Using an Overworld Waystone Key, you can save up to 10 locations per dimension and teleport between them. Each teleport costs 3 XP levels and has a short cooldown, which keeps the system balanced while still saving time on travel.

Waystones must be saved again if you break and move them, so plan your fast travel carefully.

The armor made from new ore

New Ores and Enchantments

The addon adds several new ores to discover:
  • Stardust (very rare)
  • Tin
  • Aluminum

These resources open up more crafting options and make mining more exciting.

How to make Stardust armor

You can make Stardust armor from Stardust ore. The ore will leave you with pieces, which you then need to smelt in a Furnace. After that, you combine x2 Diamonds, x2 Gold Bars, and x4 Stardust to make a bar.

Now that you have a Stardust bar, loot some Bastion chests to find the Stardust Upgrade Template. You can make more from the one you've discovered with x1 Stardust Bar, x1 Stardust Upgrade template, and x7 Deepslate blocks.

Finally, take a Netherite Armor Piece, Netherite Ingot, and Stardust Upgrade template to the Smithing Table and create a desirable Stardust armor piece.

Battle Tower

Battle Towers

Battle Towers are dangerous, multi-level structures that appear across the Overworld. Each floor becomes harder as you climb, but valuable loot waits at the top. They’re perfect for players who want more action and combat in their world.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Where to find Flame Runes?
A: Flame Runes are used in trade with Wizards and can be found in Chests in Nether Fortresses only, but it may take a while to find even one.

Q: Is Better on Bedrock compatible with Actions and Stuff?
A: Yes, it is compatible. To prevent any issues, make sure that Actions and Stuff is not activated through Global Resource Packs, but rather for a specific world, and is set above the BoB in the list.
